Jeffrey W. Pearce, P.E., Professional Engineer |
|
Jeff started in the consulting business as a draftsman almost 20 years ago while attending the University of Akron. After graduating with his bachelor’s degree, he continued working as a designer until obtaining his State Registration as a Professional Electrical Engineer.
As the founder and owner of Pearce Engineering, Jeff is involved in every aspect of the company, from the administration issues to the final engineering product.
His primary duties include direction of the work to the proper department within the company to assure the customer is getting the most from PE. But he is also very active in individual projects, performing everything from the conceptual design to the final engineering. Field coordination, system start-ups and troubleshooting are also part of his responsibilities.
Jeff has spent his career working closely with the people around him, taking a hands-on approach. This kind of work ethic has followed him into his roll as company owner.

Joel A. Rosenbaum, P.E., Professional Engineer |
|
Joel holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Ohio, Illinois,
and Pennsylvania. He is a Senior Member of the Institute of
Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
Joel has over 40 years experience in consulting, design and
manufacturing for electrical substations, switchgear, industrial
facilities, and commercial facilities. He has extensive and
diversified experience in management, administration of
contracts, management of design and installation of electrical
facilities, systems and equipment, and in quality system set-up
(including ISO 9001).
Joel has an extreme penchant for adherence to detail, making
him well suited for construction design projects.

Joe Franzcak, Designer |
|
Joe is a graduate of the University of Akron, with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He also holds an associate’s
degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is proficient in all aspects of
computer operations, which makes him well-suited for assisting the Engineers
in the design of power systems here at PE. His mechanical knowledge complements
the construction engineering we perform.
Joe also performs day-to-day technical and network support for
our office computer systems. His communication skills and
willingness to be a part of a team effort make him a strong
in-office asset to the engineers and draftsmen.

Brent Cronebach, Designer |
|
Before joining the team here at Pearce Engineering, Brent spent 20+
years working in many different aspects of engineering, including
product design and project management. He has worked with customers,
contractors and fabricators on many projects, and he has spent many
hours working with the final end-users of the equipment he was
designing. His work responsibilities have covered the entire project
from the design, sourcing of materials, and actual implementation of
the equipment.
His main duties at PE are the design of commercial and industrial
power systems, which includes coordinating the project with the owners,
architects, mechanical engineers, utility company and construction
contractors.

James Parrot, Draftsperson |

James is a graduate of the Technology Education College, where he earned
an Associates Degree in Drafting/AutoCAD. After graduating, he worked as
a draftsman in the consulting and manufacturing industries before joining
The U.S. Air Force. While in the Air Force he worked as an Engineering
Assistant in the Civil Engineering Squadron performing duties such as
drafting, design, and surveying.
James spent approximately 8 months deployed at Ali Air Base in Iraq
where he worked with the Army Corp. of Engineers assisting Engineers in
the design, layout, and reconstruction process.
James’s duties at PE include drafting, controlling of equipment
shop drawings and customer record drawings, and assisting with field
surveying and data collection.

Oran (O.P.) Post, Design Engineer |
|
Oran (O.P.) Post provides commercial and industrial electrical
design at Pearce Engineering, utilizing his forty-plus years of
experience in the electrical industry to our advantage. His
electrical training began in the US Navy and continued through
the IBEW Local 306 Apprentice and Journeyman programs,
culminating in his certification as an inspector for the State
of Ohio. OP served as the Electrical Inspector for the City of
Cuyahoga Falls for 22 years, and was an IBEW apprenticeship and
journeyman training instructor for 20 years.
O.P. is the chairman of the Ohio Board of Building Standards
Electrical Safety Inspector Advisory Committee, and was appointed
by Ohio’s governor to the construction industry’s licensing
board in 2005. O.P. has been a code panel member of the NEC
(NFPA 70) since 1993, representing the IAEI, where he is a former
chairman. This code expertise makes him an invaluable asset for
the design of the commercial and industrial systems, helping to
guarantee building department approvals of our plans.

Dale Ayers, Manager, Field Engineering |

Before joining the team here at Pearce Engineering, Dale spent almost thirty years working for
an electric utility and then another twelve years in the consulting business.
At the utility, Dale worked his way up through the departments before retiring as head of the
substation division. In the consulting business, Dale spent his time performing duties similar
to those he now performs at Pearce Engineering.
These duties include the review of relaying schemes and their installation drawings, the design
and review of interconnection drawings and systems, the review of equipment shop drawings, and the
in-field review of equipment installations.
Dale also assists in system start-ups and system trouble shooting, as well as the development
and initiation of system maintenance programs.
Dale is a real hands on person who works directly with the field personnel of our customers to
assist them in any way needed.

Chriss Walker, Office Manager/Contracts Admin. |
|
For more than 30 years, Chriss has enjoyed a career as an
administrative professional in many different types of business
environments, including manufacturing and engineering. Her
understanding of, and proficiency with, a variety of office
programs and procedures provides our staff and customers with
the support and service they deserve.
Her responsibilities include daily management of our offices,
formatting of all technical specs, contracts administration,
coordination of contractor scheduling and payment procedures.
Chriss's dedication to professionalism and quality customer
service is an invaluable asset to our company.
